Who are Royal Voluntary Service?

For over 85 years, WVS, WRVS and today as Royal Voluntary Service, we have helped the people of Britain in times of crisis; from supporting the evacuation of children during the second world war to providing over 2 million acts of support during the coronavirus pandemic through the NHS Volunteer Responder programme.

Whether a national or personal crisis, Royal Voluntary Service is always there – in hospitals and communities throughout Britain.

Why should I support Royal Voluntary Service’s Christmas Gift campaign?

Christmas can be a very lonely time of the year for many older, vulnerable people. And this Christmas will be no different. A time of year meant for family and community, but so many will spend it alone, again. Some people will be unable to leave their homes, others don’t have any family or friends and some will be stuck in hospital by themselves.

Royal Voluntary Service want to support more people this Christmas – people who, without our help, would spend the entire season alone.

How does the Christmas Gift online campaign shop work?

Choose how many gifts you’d like to buy and add them to your online basket. We will use all donations received to support older, vulnerable people wherever the need is greatest throughout Britain this Christmas and beyond.

Where does my money go?

When you buy a gift, you are donating to Royal Voluntary Service who are providing vital services and supporting vulnerable people in hospitals and communities throughout Britain.

Can I add Gift Aid?

Yes, the virtual gift is a way of donating to Royal Voluntary Service, which means the gifts are eligible for Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer.

What do you do with my data?
